Outside it is raining cats and dogs. That's why Dirk and Lorette Kruger from South Africa, who just arrived on their Africa Twin motorbike, are having diner on the floor. I just had a shower. They invited me to share a glass of wine. We had a chat. Lorette took a picture.

It is 2003. My friends Corné and Marianne are travelling through Africa. Marianne on her XT, Corné on his Africa Twin. They are invited by a member of the Africa Twin Club of South Africa. They browse through the family's photo albums. They see a picture of their host, sitting on the floor of a Spanish toilet block, a glass of wine in his hand. And they see me.
